UNC Tar Heels Head to Wilmington for ACC Championship

The University of North Carolina women’s golf team recently competed in the Carolina Challenge Cup, where Ng finished in second place. Following this performance, the Tar Heels are scheduled to return to action on April 16, 2026, for the ACC Championship.

The upcoming ACC Championship will be held at the Porters Neck Country Club located in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Recent University of North Carolina Athletics Results

In addition to the women’s golf results, several other North Carolina athletic programs recorded notable outcomes between April 4 and April 5, 2026.

The baseball team secured a series victory over Boston College. On April 4, 2026, the team won the series finale with an 8-7 victory. This followed a previous win in the series where the team defeated Boston College 5-2.

The softball team completed a sweep of NC State in Raleigh. The series finale on April 4, 2026, ended in a 4-2 win for the Tar Heels. Earlier in the series, the team clinched the series with an 11-3 victory over NC State.

In men’s lacrosse, the team defeated Syracuse with a score of 14-9 on April 4, 2026, in a matchup described as a top-three battle.

Other athletic updates include the men’s golf team, led by Sandhu and Roscich, taking a lead in Augusta. In rowing, the team competed in the final day of the Ohio State Regatta.
