Uncovering the Dark Truth: How a High School Student’s Desperate Act Led Me to the Shocking Mastermind Behind the Scenes
High School Student Caught Smuggling 60 Million Won Worth of Drugs
A high school student was caught at customs while smuggling 60 million won worth of drugs through the mail.
However, during the interrogation, it turned out that the real culprit was his older brother.
Reporter Ryu Hyun-jun reports on the shocking case.
The Discovery
Last July, 20 grams of ecstasy smuggled through international mail were detected during customs clearance.
Ecstasy is a drug with strong hallucinogenic properties that can cause brain damage, and the market price for 20 grams is 60 million won.
The recipient of the mail was a 17-year-old high school student living in Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province, and was caught on the spot.
The Real Culprit
However, during the interrogation, it turned out that the real owner of the post was his older brother, a man in his twenties.
When customs searched the older brother’s house, they also found other drugs in the form of stamps and hallucinogenic mushrooms grown in the safe and closet.
It has been revealed that this man bought ecstasy in Germany via Telegram last June and used his brother’s name and address to claim it had been delivered to him by mistake when caught in a drug raid.
Consequences
Customs immediately arrested the man, detained him, handed him over to the prosecutor’s office and confiscated all the drugs found.
