Netflix has confirmed the production of Under Paris 2, a sequel to the 2024 French action-horror disaster film Under Paris. The upcoming installment continues the story of the mutated shark population in the French capital and is scheduled for a 2027 release.

The sequel will be directed by Alexandre Aja, a filmmaker known for horror and thriller projects including Crawl (2019), Piranha 3D (2010), and The Hills Have Eyes (2006).
