Under the Stars: Namsan Park in Hwasun-gun Comes Alive with Magical Autumn Night Concert

[화순=뉴스핌] Reporter Jo Eun-jeong = Jeonnam Hwasun-gun Culture and Tourism Foundation announced on the 5th that it successfully completed the ‘Autumn Night Concert commemorating the creation of Namsan Park Nightscape’ at the outdoor stage of Namsan Park.

This concert, attended by approximately 6,000 people, including Hwasun-gun residents and citizens of nearby areas, was hosted by the Hwasun-gun branch of the Korean Singers Association and the Hwasun branch of the Federation of Korean Entertainment Artists.

Chairman Koo Bok-gyu was unable to attend in person due to a business trip to China, but delivered a commemorative speech through video.

The event began with announcer Hong Jin-sil as host, followed by performances by various singers.

Songs such as ‘Road to Red Cliff’, which contains the joys and sorrows of the Red Cliffs and the displaced people, were played, creating deep emotion. Songs by Gong Jeong-sik, Hwasun’s representative composer, and Na Sang-do’s hit songs received great response from the audience.

Singer Punch led audience participation with an impromptu song request event, and finally, Kim Jong-kook finished the concert with a hit song from his Turbo era and a solo stage.

An official from the Hwasun-gun Culture and Tourism Foundation said, “We will continue to get closer to the residents and hold various cultural events.”
