WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker recently disclosed that he underwent emergency heart surgery following WrestleMania 41.On his “Six Feet Under” podcast, he and his wife, Michelle McCool, discussed the previously unrevealed health scare.
McCool said that she found it arduous to accept congratulations during WrestleMania weekend as she was preoccupied with her husband’s health. She revealed that the morning after WrestleMania, The Undertaker was rushed to the hospital for heart surgery.
The Undertaker had to undergo tests after McCool scheduled a routine heart scan. “I didn’t even know anything was wrong,” The Undertaker said.
McCool recalled getting a call from The Undertaker, who said that doctors wouldn’t perform the heart exam because his heart rate was elevated. She managed to get him another appointment shortly after, where he was diagnosed with chronic AFib.
