Flood Situation in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province

Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya – Many ⁤areas of Bang Ban district are⁤ still under ‍water. Some places were about 1 – 1.5 meters high after the water volume of the Chao⁣ Phraya River ⁢continued to increase. Villagers had to go out and stay in tents to park⁤ their cars and motorcycles,⁢ sleeping and guarding the property.

On September 8, 2024, reporters ⁤reported on the‌ flood situation in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya‍ Province. The Chao Phraya Dam continues to release water into the ⁢area⁣ downstream of the dam at a rate of 1,498 cubic meters per ⁢second, resulting in low river levels. which receives water from the Chao Phraya‍ River As it flows⁤ through Bang Ban District Phra‍ Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province Water levels remain high in⁣ many areas.

It was found in Thang Chang Subdistrict, Bang Ban District, Phra Nakhon Si ⁤Ayutthaya Province. which is the first subdistrict that was flooded by the waters that overflowed⁣ its banks. The water level of the Little River has overflowed its banks and flooded ⁣dozens of houses along ⁢the river. ⁢Some places are about 1 – 1.50 ⁣meters high, personal belongings and cars. Motorcycles have to be transported to the side of the road and guards are assigned to watch over them at night.

Mr Boonchob Chattham, 53, ⁤a⁤ villager, revealed that the⁤ flooding⁣ had been going on for about 10 days and the water‍ was ⁢rising. One night, it rose about 8-10 centimetres every night. The villagers had to⁣ use boats as vehicles ‌to go in and ⁢out. Now I have to ⁣travel.‌ Since I am at home now, I cannot do anything. I‍ just sat and looked at the water. You have to sit⁢ outside,⁤ meet and talk to relieve stress.

Including‌ surveillance of ⁣properties ⁣on the roadside including some appliances, cars, motorcycles. In the evening the workers who go to work ⁣come⁣ back and park⁤ again. At night, his son was watching over him because the water was rising and ‍there were new floods. ‌Criminals and ⁢thieves liked to steal motorcycles. Still afraid that one has to ‍watch ⁤over the other. Even though⁣ there is a chain‌ lock, if after September 15th⁣ we let the water in, it would still ⁤be⁢ a little ‍bad ⁣because in 2013 it was⁤ all ⁤on the roof⁤ of‌ our garage. If you‍ let it go, it is still⁤ a little ⁣bad.
