Seasonally adjusted⁣ data from the survey reveals 142,000 individuals were unemployed ⁢during ⁣this period.

Disparities Among Younger Workers

While the‌ overall increase in both‍ employment​ and unemployment figures between the second⁢ and third quarters was consistent, a concerning trend emerged among ‌younger workers, particularly men.‍ This demographic experienced a rise ⁣in​ unemployment alongside a slight decrease in employment levels.‌ This suggests potential challenges for young people⁤ entering ⁤or remaining in the workforce.
