Huawei Launches World’s First Three-Way Foldable Smartphone

Huawei, a Chinese technology giant, has introduced the world’s first three-way foldable smartphone, with over 4 million reservations made on the launch day alone.

Yu Chengdong, executive director of Huawei, stated that this smartphone is the world’s first triple smartphone with a size of 10.2 inches, proving that the company has successfully commercialized a triple smartphone.

The Chinese tech company has been developing innovative smartphones, and its market share in the foldable smartphone market is constantly growing. According to the International Data Corporation (IDC), foldable smartphone sales doubled in the second quarter of this year compared to the previous year. Huawei has a 42% market share behind Vivo and Honor.

Last year, China sold more than 7 million foldable smartphones, and IDC predicts that by 2027, China will have sold 101.5 million foldable smartphones.
