Huawei, a Chinese tech giant, has successfully delivered the Mate XT, the world’s first tri-foldable smartphone, to customers at a Huawei store in Shanghai. The event was attended by Yu Chengdong, who facilitated the unboxing of the Mate XT, creating a live atmosphere.
Since its launch on September 10, the Huawei Mate XT has received an overwhelming response, with over 6 million smartphones ordered online. To meet the high demand, Yu announced that Huawei has expanded its production capacity. The company emphasizes the use of domestic technology, chips, and manufacturing processes in developing this smartphone.
The Mate XT boasts a 10.2-inch screen and is remarkably thin, measuring only 3.6mm. When unfolded, it becomes the world’s largest and thinnest foldable phone. This smartphone features the world’s thinnest silicon anode battery, measuring just 1.9 millimeters thick.
The Mate XT offers versatility with its multiple screen options, including single, dual, and triple screens, catering to various user needs. Huawei has dedicated over five years to developing innovative foldable screen smartphones.
The Mate XT is priced at a starting price of 19,999 yuan, approximately 100,000 baht.
