Union College Baseball Players Earn Academic Recognition

Three members of the Union College baseball team were named to the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team on June 3, 2026. Junior Jacob Skarlis and seniors Caleb Miller and Andrew Keaveney received the honors for their combined performance in athletics and academics.

The recognition is awarded to student-athletes who maintain a high standard of academic achievement while contributing significantly to their respective sports teams. The selection process is managed by the College Sports Communicators, an organization dedicated to the professional development of sports information directors and communications professionals.

Academic and Athletic Requirements

To be eligible for the CSC Academic All-District honors, student-athletes must meet strict criteria established by the organization. Candidates must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50.
