Union Saint-Gilloise Responds to Media Access Criticism
Brussels, Belgium – Teh Union Saint-Gilloise (USG) has issued a statement responding to criticism leveled at the club during Monday night’s episode of “La Tribune” on RTBF regarding player accessibility for interviews.
“The Union Saint-Gilloise wishes to react to the comments made during the ‘La Tribune’ program on RTBF Monday evening,” the club said in an official statement released Tuesday. “Our club always cooperates constructively with the media and is happy to allow its players to participate in interviews and programs whenever it is feasible for all parties involved.”
The club expressed surprise at the comments made on “La Tribune,” stating they had “never received an official request” for player interviews. USG also defended its leadership, saying, “We regret that our management has been unfairly criticized on this matter. The club’s management, consisting of our president, sporting director, and CEO, works very hard every day to grow the club.”
