United in Grief: Harris and Trump Put Differences Aside to Honor Twin Towers Victims
9/11 Tribute: A Solemn Event Marked by Reflection and Remembrance
At a recent event, a prominent figure was asked if he would address President Biden or Vice President Harris, but he remained uncertain and instead continued his criticism of the Democrats on issues like border control, which he believes has led to an influx of criminals from around the world.
Regarding the 9/11 attacks, a tragic event that has left an indelible mark on American history, he reflected on the severity of the day, stating, “It was a very sad, terrible, horrible day. Nothing like it, a horrible day.”
A Tribute to the Fallen
Every year on September 11, the two reflecting pools that stand in place of the Twin Towers are filled with American flags and roses, a poignant tribute that lasts for several hours. The event features a military parade, speeches from hundreds of relatives who have lost loved ones, a reading of the names of the deceased, and moments of silence.
During the tribute, Vice President Harris was seen with a somber expression, occasionally looking down, while the other figure maintained an upright posture, facing forward.
Although the main tribute is held in New York, other events take place at the Pentagon and in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, where two other planes crashed on that fateful day.
