Defense Day Celebrations Underway at General Headquarters
Defense Day celebrations are currently taking place at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi, with Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and other senior government and military officials in attendance. The ceremony is also being attended by members of the federal cabinet, senior civil and military officials, and families of martyrs.
Prime Minister Pays Tribute to Martyrs
Upon arriving at the GHQ, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif laid flowers at the martyrs’ memorial and offered prayers for the high status of the martyrs.
The ceremony is a significant event, with members of the federal cabinet, senior civil and military officials, and families of martyrs all in attendance.
Defense and Martyrs Day is celebrated nationwide with great enthusiasm, honoring the martyrs and veterans who have made the ultimate sacrifice to protect their country.
