United Soccer Coaches All-Region Teams

United Soccer Coaches has released its comprehensive awards and honors for the 2025-26 cycle, recognizing top performers and coaching staff across multiple levels of competition. The honors span NCAA, NAIA, Junior College and High School levels, highlighting excellence in both men’s and women’s soccer.

Collegiate All-Region and All-America Honors

The organization has announced All-Region teams across various collegiate divisions. In NCAA Division III, the Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth (MAC Commonwealth) and Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) saw significant representation, with a combined 37 selections for the 2025 NCAA Division III Women’s and Men’s All-Region teams, as announced on December 2, 2025.

Collegiate All-Region and All-America Honors

Individual honors have also been extended to standout players in higher divisions. Gissurarson was named to the United Soccer Coaches Division I Men’s All-Northeast Region Team, representing UAlbany Sports.

At the All-American level, Opdenbrouw from University of Hartford Athletics was named to the United Soccer Coaches 4th Team All-American list.

High School and Youth Recognition

The association’s recognition extends to the secondary and youth levels. On December 5, 2025, United Soccer Coaches announced the High School Boys and Girls All-Region Teams for the Fall 2025 season.

The 2025-26 awards program includes several specific categories for high school athletics, including:

  • High School National Coaches of the Year
  • High School Regional Coaches and Assistant Coaches of the Year
  • High School Boys and Girls State Coaches of the Year for both Fall and Winter/Spring seasons
  • High School Boys and Girls State Players of the Year for both Fall and Winter/Spring seasons
  • Youth National Coach of the Year

Coaching and Team Awards

Beyond individual player accolades, United Soccer Coaches provides recognition for staff and collective team achievements. The awards include National and Regional Staff of the Year honors for NCAA (DI, DII, DIII), NAIA, and Junior College (DI, DII, DIII) levels for both men and women.

Team-based awards are categorized by academic achievement and sportsmanship. The Team Academic Award is available for both high school and college programs. The Team Pinnacle Award is granted at the high school and college levels.

The Team Ethics & Sportsmanship Award is divided by level and season. For high schools, awards are designated for Fall, Winter, and Spring, while a separate award is maintained for college programs.

Comprehensive Award Structure

The 2025-26 Awards Central framework organizes honors into several distinct tiers to ensure coverage across the soccer landscape:
