United We Fall: Bayern Munich Star Spills the Beans on Joshua Zirkzee’s Shocking Man Utd Recruitment Bid
Joshua Zirkzee Tried to Recruit Jamal Musiala to Manchester United
Manchester United’s new signing, Joshua Zirkzee, has revealed that he tried to recruit his former teammate Jamal Musiala to join him at Old Trafford. Zirkzee, who spent five years at Bayern Munich, formed a close friendship with Musiala during their time together at the club.
Zirkzee signed with Manchester United in July for around £36m and has already made an impressive debut, scoring in the second half of their win over Fulham. However, it seems that he was keen to bring his friend Musiala along with him to the Premier League.
In a video that went viral on social media, a Manchester United fan asked Zirkzee to persuade Musiala to join the club. Zirkzee smiled and replied, “I tried, I tried,” suggesting that he had indeed attempted to recruit his friend.
Musiala, who is widely regarded as one of the best young players in the world, has already scored 44 goals and provided 31 assists in 166 appearances for Bayern Munich. He has also represented England and spent time in the academies of Southampton and Chelsea.

Musiala has since confirmed that he and Zirkzee had jokingly discussed a move to Manchester United. “I always joke with my friends and dream of playing for the team one day,” he told the German newspaper, Sunday’s World.
However, it seems unlikely that Musiala will leave Bayern Munich anytime soon. With just two years remaining on his contract, he has stated that he is committed to the club and the country. “I am very happy at FC Bayern and committed to our goals for the club and the country,” he said.

Zirkzee is currently on international duty with the Netherlands and is expected to return to Manchester United when they travel to Southampton on September 14.
