Saudi Professional League: Al-Tawun and Damak Secure Wins
Al-Tawun team emerged victorious against their guests Al-Khaliz at the Al-Tawun Club Stadium in Buraydah, in the opening match of the third round of the Saudi Professional League, ”Roshan League”. The double for Al-Taoun was scored by Gambian professional Musa Barrow in the 18th minute and player Sultan Mandesh in the 51st minute.
With this result, Al-Taoun reached the sixth point of the third-placed team, and Al-Khaliz in 11th place accumulated 3 points.
Damak Secures First Point in the League
In another match held at the same time, Damak secured their first point in the league by defeating their opponents Al-Akhdouk by three goals to one in their combined match at Khamis Mushait’s Damak Club Stadium.
Al-Akhdu’s Hussain Al-Zabadani scored an own goal in the 6th minute for Damak, and George Kevin Nkodo scored twice from penalty kicks in the 12th and 28th minutes. Knowledge Musona scored Akhdu’s only goal in the 73rd minute of the match.
With the win, Damak moved up to tenth place in the competition’s ranking table, while Al-Akhdoud continued in last place without any points.
