Uniting for a Brighter Tomorrow: Senades Aragua Hosts Thrilling Recreational and Cultural Day in Guaruto
Senades Aragua Strengthens Community Prevention with Recreational and Cultural Day in Guaruto
The activity, aimed at children and young people, took place on the sports field of the Guaruto neighborhood in the municipality of Linares Alcántara.
The National Service for Disarmament (Senades) in the state of Aragua, in collaboration with the organizations that are part of the Preventive Front, successfully developed a preventive day on September 14 in the Guaruto field, municipality of Francisco Linares Alcántara. The activity focused on promoting values, crime prevention, and cultural strengthening.
As part of the day, the Aragua Senades team held preventive discussions with the support of the Crime Prevention Office (DPD) and the National Anti-Drug Inspectorate (Sunad). These meetings reinforced the importance of disarmament, rejection of violence, and building safer environments. In turn, the authorities emphasized the need for active citizen participation to ensure harmonious coexistence.
The activity also included a demonstration by the canine brigade of the Bolivarian Aragua Police (PBA), which caught the attention of attendees, mainly children and young people, promoting a positive perception of security institutions.
Alongside this, leisure activities, traditional games, and sporting competitions such as volleyball and football were developed, highlighting sport as a key tool for crime prevention.
Within the framework of this day, Gribol Noguera, through the Directorate of Culture of the office of mayor Francisco Linares Alcántara, presented the traditional burriquita dance, bringing a cultural message to the boys and girls of the community. The integration of culture and artistic expressions reinforces the sense of identity and belonging, contributing to the formation of values that favor the coexistence of citizens.
Senades Aragua highlighted that the support and active participation of the residents of Guaruto is essential to the success of the day. “The integration of the community in preventive activities is essential for building a safer and more peaceful society,” said representatives of the organization.
In this way, Senades Aragua reaffirms its commitment to promote preventive actions and training in the different communities of the region, working hand in hand with the organizations of the Preventive Front and citizens. These days become a space for unity and growth, where culture, sport, and prevention intertwine to create a better future.
