National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man Meets with Vietnamese Community in Russia

On September 8, ⁣National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man ‍and a high-ranking‍ delegation of the Vietnamese National Assembly met with officials and‍ staff of the Embassy ⁣and representatives of the Vietnamese community in the Russian Federation during an official visit⁣ to Russia.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Russia Dang Minh Khoi highlighted the significance of Chairman Tran Thanh Man’s visit, noting that it marks‌ his first foreign visit as Chairman of the ⁢National Assembly. The Russian side highly appreciates the fact ‍that the National Assembly Chairman chose Russia as ⁢the first ‍country to visit in his new position.

The visit holds great importance, and Chairman Tran Thanh Man’s presence was warmly welcomed by the Vietnamese community in Russia. Ambassador Dang Minh ‍Khoi shared ⁢that the community has a long history​ of ⁢formation, closely linked to the history of relations between Vietnam and​ the former Soviet Union ⁢and the current Russian Federation.

The Vietnamese community in Russia is growing stronger, with a stable‍ life, consolidated legal status, and social position. They always⁣ look towards their homeland and country. Chairman Tran‌ Thanh Man emphasized​ that the Party and State always care about compatriots living⁣ far from the Fatherland, considering them an inseparable part of the ‍nation.

Chairman Tran Thanh Man also shared that the invitation of the ⁣Chairman of the State Duma and the Chairman of the Federation ‌Council to the Chairman of ⁤the Vietnamese National Assembly to officially visit‌ Russia demonstrates Russia’s​ special‌ respect for the comprehensive strategic partnership with Vietnam. The visit aims to promote cooperation between the legislative bodies of the two countries.

Informing the staff of the Embassy and representatives of the Vietnamese community in Russia about‍ the ⁢country’s situation, ​Chairman ⁢Tran Thanh Man emphasized that the Party, National Assembly, and Government strive ⁢to ensure growth, control inflation, stabilize‍ the macro-economy,‌ and ensure social security. The material and spiritual life of‌ the people has been constantly improved, national​ defense and security have been ensured, ‍and diplomacy has been strengthened.
