The 16th Conference of Municipal Representatives of Repatriated Overseas Chinese and Their Relatives opened on the ⁢morning of September ⁣20. Yin Li,​ secretary of the municipal party committee, Wan Lijun, party secretary and chairman of the All-China Federation ⁣of Repatriated Overseas Chinese, gave speeches, and⁤ Li Xiuling, director of the Standing Committee of ⁤the⁢ Municipal People’s Congress, attended.

Yin Li’s Speech

Yin Li‌ extended greetings to the returning overseas Chinese,‍ their families, overseas Chinese ‌and workers of the Overseas Chinese Federation in the capital. He emphasized that the vast ‍number ​of repatriated overseas Chinese, their families and overseas Chinese⁤ are important forces in ​promoting the modernization drive of my country‌ and realizing the Chinese dream of a great rejuvenation of the Chinese‌ nation.

Yin Li pointed out that the entire city is currently deeply studying and implementing the spirit of the‍ Third Plenary Session of the 20th ⁢Party Central Committee, ⁢deepening reform, expanding‍ opening-up, promoting development, and⁢ striving to⁤ take the lead in fundamentally realizing socialist modernization.

Call to Action

Yin Li⁢ called for comprehensively strengthening the ​construction of the Overseas ‌Chinese Federation, and⁣ promoting the cause‍ of the Overseas Chinese Federation in the capital to a ‌new level. We must​ uphold the overall‌ leadership of the Party, unswervingly use Xi Jinping⁢ Thought‌ on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era to unite our⁢ hearts and souls, unite overseas Chinese to unswervingly listen to and follow the Party, and draw the largest concentric circle ⁢in the overseas Chinese​ community.

Wan Lijun’s ⁢Speech

Wan Lijun fully affirmed the work of the Overseas Chinese Federation of the capital and stressed that the Party Central Committee, with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core, cares about the large number of repatriated overseas Chinese, their families and overseas Chinese, and has great expectations for it.

Wan Lijun emphasized that the Overseas Chinese Federation organizations at all levels‍ in Beijing and the‍ cadres of the Overseas ‍Chinese Federation will conscientiously implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions ⁤on overseas Chinese affairs and mass group‍ work, strengthen political guidance, build ideological consensus, and persist in ‍using Xi‍ Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era to guide the work of the Federation.
