University of Cincinnati Women’s Tennis Welcomes Five-Star Recruit Tara Kurepa
CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati women’s tennis team announced the signing of Tara Kurepa on Friday.
Head coach Eric Toth expressed excitement about Kurepa joining the team next fall. He noted her strong performance on the national junior circuit and believes she has great potential as a Division I tennis player.
Kurepa is a five-star recruit from Jericho, N.Y. She ranks as the No. 7 player in New York and 83rd nationally according to TennisRecruiting.net. She trains at the John McEnroe Tennis Academy and has had significant success in the USTA junior circuit.
Throughout her junior career, Kurepa has won multiple championships at various age levels.
In singles, she is a two-time USTA Level 4 G18s champion and a Level 4 G16s champion.
In doubles, she has earned titles as a USTA Level 3 G18s two-time champion, a Level 3 G16s champion, and a Level 2 G16s champion.
In 2023, she received the Sportsmanship Award at the Level 1 Clay Court Championships G16s.
