Edgar’s Characteristics
Edgar is a unique brawler who helps his teammates by healing himself and automatically recharging his ultimate skill when he makes a normal attack.
Edgar is a popular choice among players due to his high pick rate, but he also has a low win rate due to his vulnerability to trolling by damage-dealing characters.
Types of Edgar Players
There are four types of Edgar players:
- Edgar the Ignorant: Players who choose Edgar without considering the map and mode.
- Charge Edgar: Players who jump into a place with many enemies, relying only on self-defense.
- Hardcore Edgar: Players who use the shield gadget regardless of the map and mode.
- Ultimate Edgar: Players who catch one enemy when their ultimate skill is fully charged.
Edgar’s Normal Attack and Ultimate Skill
Edgar’s normal attack throws two fast punches with his scarf, healing himself in the process.
His ultimate skill, ”Overcoming All Obstacles,” quickly jumps to the targeted location, increasing movement speed for 2.5 seconds after landing.
Gadgets
Edgar has two gadgets: Fly High and Hardcore.
Fly High increases the ultimate charge by 6.25x for 4 seconds, while Hardcore absorbs 3300 damage immediately upon use, creating a shield that can absorb damage over time.
Star Power
Edgar’s Star Power has two effects: Hard Landing and Fist Fight.
Hard Landing deals 125% of normal attack damage to surrounding enemies when landing with the ultimate skill, while Fist Fight recovers from the damage dealt, increasing HP healing by 25%.
Hypercharge
Edgar’s Hypercharge effect increases charging speed and reload speed by 25%, damage by 15%, and shield by 15% after using the ultimate skill.
This effect can be devastating for the enemy team, making it essential to run away when facing an Edgar with Hypercharge.
