REYNATIS is a mature, action-packed magic RPG where two people with different viewpoints fight for their ideals in a realistic recreation of Shibuya, modern Tokyo.

World/Story

The year is 2024. In Shibuya, Tokyo, the Magical Crime Response Act issued an order prohibiting citizens from going out at night. However, it was quickly ignored and few implemented it.

Marin Kirizumi is a wizard who grew up oppressed by others due to his magic. “If you become the strongest, you will be released.” According to the words left by his father, he arrived in Shibuya at night.

When Sari Nishijima discovers her magic, she decides to use her power to maintain order. She follows her sense of justice and protects Shibuya from forces with dangerous ideals and illegal drugs that turn people into monsters.

Marin seeks liberation. Sari who sees the oppression of wizards as justice. The REYNATIS story begins when the two met in Shibuya, a place where cultures and ideas mingle.

Battle

By properly utilizing the Suppressed and Liberated states, anyone can easily perform the action of stopping the display.

In Overwhelm mode, you can’t attack, but you can dodge any enemy attacks with a single press of a button.

In Liberation mode, you can attack with all your might, but you won’t be able to defend, so timing is crucial.

Players can instantly switch between up to three different characters during combat. Each character has its own unique abilities. Choose your character according to the situation to gain the upper hand!

Exploration

The real city of Shibuya has been painstakingly recreated in REYNATIS. Take a stroll around the city and discover everything from famous landmarks like SHIBUYA109 to hole-in-the-wall bars that only the savviest will know about.

In Suppressed Mode, your identity and actions are hidden. As long as people don’t find out you’re a wizard, you can talk to ordinary civilians. During these conversations, you may receive exploration prompts as well as new quests.

In Liberation mode you can use magic to explore and move faster. However, it is possible for civilians to report you to the MEA and they will do their best.

Others

Shibuya’s Pocket Fog is a portal to another magical world that only wizards can enter.

This secret realm is run by a rebel group known as the Guild. Non-magical people are unable to enter, and monsters thrive due to the magic in the air. The vast space of the Other includes not only forests and wilderness, but also things like factories and museums. What lies within its deepest recesses remains unknown.
