Samsung Galaxy M55s 5G Launched with 120Hz Display and Cheaper Price

Samsung has expanded its M series with the launch of the Galaxy M55s 5G, following the release of the Galaxy M55 in April. While the specifications of the Galaxy M55s 5G remain largely unchanged from its predecessor, it offers a more affordable price point.

The Samsung Galaxy M55s 5G boasts a 6.7-inch FHD+ display with a maximum screen brightness of 1,000 nits and a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, it features an in-screen fingerprint scanner for enhanced security. The device is equipped with a quad-camera setup, consisting of a 50-megapixel front-facing camera, a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 2-megapixel depth camera.

Powering the Galaxy M55s 5G is the same Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip used in the regular Galaxy M55. The device offers RAM options up to 12GB and internal storage capacity up to 256GB. It also features a large 5,500mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. The Galaxy M55s 5G runs on OneUI 6.1 operating system, which is based on Android 14.

The Samsung Galaxy M55s 5G is priced starting at Rs 19,999 for the 8GB/128GB model, making it a more affordable option compared to the Galaxy M55, which starts at 10,700 baht.
