Medellín Office of the Mayor Launches Call for Art and⁤ Culture Promotion

Medellín, Colombia – The Medellín Office of the ⁢Mayor, through the Secretariat of Citizen Culture, ‍has opened its ⁣fourteenth call for Promotion and Stimulation ⁢for⁣ Art and Culture, a program aimed at supporting local artistic groups.

This initiative ​is divided into two main lines: the Parade of Legends and‍ Legends, and the Christmas Agenda 2024. The Parade of Legends and Legends focuses on promoting a⁢ finished staging ‌that can be adapted to the specific conditions of the stimulus of the parade, with three thematic axes: origins, tradition, and diversity.

These axes represent the ‌connection to the past, the preservation of traditions, and the‍ bridge to the future in a globalized world. The Christmas Agenda ‍2024, on‌ the other hand,⁣ supports​ presentations of performing ‌arts works in Christmas spaces.

Eligibility and​ Application Process

To apply, interested groups must register their projects and present themselves as legal entities ‍or formed groups. The registration deadline is September 25 ‍at 5:00 pm.
