Reckless Studios, the renowned developer behind BATTLETECH and Shadowrun Trilogy, has unveiled its latest project: GRAFT, a survival horror action role-playing game for PC (Steam, Epic Games Store). Although a release date has not been announced, the studio has shared an overview of the game.
About GRAFT
GRAFT challenges players with profound questions of identity and transformation, set on a dying space station on the brink of destruction. In this thrilling new adventure, players will traverse the dark, dilapidated corridors of a vast space station called “Arc”, where survival depends on their wits and their evolving self.
In GRAFT, players will navigate a crumbling, continent-sized space station, the Arc, where the remains of a once-thriving civilization have fallen into darkness and decay. As a survivor of this dying world, players must scavenge and transplant parts from their enemies to transform and enhance their abilities, while also trying to understand the philosophical implications of identity and memory.
Each transplant not only changes the player’s physical form but also injects fragments of the former owner’s consciousness, creating an unforgettable interplay of survival, transformation, and self-discovery – all while battling terrifying monsters. Will players escape the Ark with their humanity intact, or will they become someone completely different?
