British motorcycle brand Langen Motorcycles has unveiled its latest model, the LightSpeed (LS12) Launch Edition, which was announced at Motorcycle Live 2023 held in Birmingham in the fall of 2023.
Key Specifications: Weighs 185kg and Produces 185HP
Langen Motorcycles has unveiled the final production version of its latest model, LightSpeed (LS12), which boasts an impressive power-to-weight ratio.
Langen Motorcycles, founded in 2019 by Christofer Ratcliffe, a former chief design engineer at CCM Motorcycles, has a reputation for creating innovative and high-performance motorcycles. The company’s previous model, the ‘Two Stroke,’ was released in 2020 and featured a Euro 5-compliant Vins Srl two-stroke engine.
The LightSpeed is a naked model manufactured by Buell Motorcycles and tuned by Langen, featuring a 1,190cc Rotax 72-degree V-twin engine that delivers a maximum output of 185PS/10,600 rpm. The engine is mounted on a high-tensile steel tube space frame, which provides exceptional strength and stability.

The LightSpeed weighs in at 185kg, thanks to its carbon fibre body and other lightweight features. The motorcycle is also equipped with Ohlins front forks and rear shocks, 320mm twin floating front discs, and British Hel Performance calipers, providing exceptional handling and braking performance.
The LightSpeed Launch Edition is a homologation model limited to 185 units and is available with a range of bespoke options, including paint, handlebars, wheels, and other finishes. This allows customers to personalize their motorcycle to suit their individual preferences.
