Sze-To Po (Louis Koo), once known as the “Little Judo King”, was once a master, but now he has given up judo and has become a degenerate gangster who is in debt, addicted to gambling and alcohol.
The new Judo champion Tony (Aaron Kwok) comes to challenge Sze-To Po, trying to see who is better. His old rival, the ruthless Li A-Kang (Tony Leung Ka Fai), also comes to challenge Sze-To Po because of an unfinished match that year.
As a result, Tony and Sze-To Po become friends. Xiao Meng (Cherrie Ying), a pretty girl from Taiwan, dreams of becoming a singer, but is almost ambushed. She has suffered a lot in order to realize her dream and hopes that Sze-To Po can rekindle her fighting spirit.
