Unleash the Power: 4 Groundbreaking Updates to the Apple Ultra 2 Watch Revealed
Apple Watch Ultra 2: What’s New and Improved
Although Apple didn’t introduce a new Apple Watch Ultra model in their September keynote, the current second-generation model has received 11 significant updates. These updates are a mix of hardware and software improvements, including the latest watchOS 11 update.
New Color Variant: Black
The only hardware change is the introduction of a new color variant: black. In addition to the natural color, you can now purchase the Apple Watch Ultra 2 in black, complete with a matching black strap that perfectly complements the watch’s titanium finish. A new titanium Milanese loop is also available, but it comes at an extra cost. The Apple Watch Ultra 2 starts at 22 CZK, and the Milanese loop bundle costs 990 CZK.
Playing Media through Speakers
Until now, Apple Watch Ultra models couldn’t play media through their speakers. However, with the watchOS 11 update, this feature is now available. Unfortunately, owners of the first-generation Apple Watch Ultra won’t be able to take advantage of this feature.
Additional Options for Action Buttons
One of the main advantages of the Apple Watch Ultra is its dedicated action button. With watchOS 11, this button is even more powerful. A long press allows you to scroll through a list of different actions you can perform. A single press still performs the default action you set, but the additional long press actions provide more options.
Enhanced Sleep Apnea Detection
Series 10 introduced sleep apnea detection, a feature that’s now available on the Apple Watch Ultra 2. After a month of sleep tracking, the watch can establish a baseline and provide accurate sleep apnea detection. Regulatory approval is still pending, but this feature has the potential to greatly benefit users.
