Dragon’s Dogma 2 Update Introduces Casual Mode

By Alex Hopley – Gamereactor.cn

Dragon’s Dogma 2 has just received a massive update, bringing with ⁣it a host of exciting ⁣changes. One of the highlights of this update is the introduction of Casual Mode, designed to make the game more accessible to ‌players who may be hesitant about the‌ difficulty ⁢level.

In ‌Casual Mode, the game’s ‌enemies won’t become‌ any⁣ easier to defeat, but the world around you will become more forgiving. Some of the‌ key features of Casual Mode include:

  • Reduced hotel ⁢rates for⁤ hotel stays.
  • Lower ferry prices.
  • Increased difficulty in carrying heavy weights.
  • Reduced stamina consumption when sprinting out of‌ combat.
  • No increase in loss indicator when loading from last save after⁣ Arisen’s death.
  • Pawns will recover from the Dragon Plague⁢ without devastating catastrophes, even if symptoms progress to the terminal stage.

Players can switch to Casual⁤ Mode in the game, but it’s essential to note that once you make the switch, you won’t be able to revert back to normal mode. This may ⁢prevent you from earning certain achievements.

For more information on the new patch and ‌its features, you can visit the official ⁤Steam page.
