It took 5 years to create a drama event in Taiwan and finally the beginning of a new chapter! “The Distance Between Us and Evil 2” held a grand preview press conference today (11/6) on the main stage of the Institute of Cultural Studies’ 2024 Creative Content Conference Market Exhibition (TCCF MARKET). The lead creative team and Gold Medal team from the first season have joined forces once again to create a new story and a new cast for “With Evil 2.” Led by Gold Medal Producer Lin Yuling, Gold Medal Screenwriter Lu Xuan, and Golden Bell Director Lin Junyang, Double Golden Bell Actors Zhu Yimin and Xu Shiling together with Liu Zhiquan and Bai Runin attended the press conference previewing “Evil 2” and “With Evil 2”. 1. Plot summary of “The Distance Between Us and Evil 2”.

The story begins with a supermarket arson case, in which a 24-year-old suspect who caused five deaths and 12 injuries may face the death penalty after the implementation of the national justice system. This fire also burned the inner destinies of six families, who were sometimes intertwined, they had their own life story, revenge, fall, and mutual redemption for 20 years. Where will the fate of these 6 families lead?

2. Introduction of cast and characters of “The Distance Between Us and Evil 2”.

• Zhou Yimin played the role of “Ma Yesen”.

Zhou Yimin shared at the press conference that his character “Ma Yisen”, a doctor, was originally a warm, brave, upright and cheerful person, but after losing his wife and child in an accident, he became corrupted, sad and depressed.

• Xu Shiling plays “Gao Zhengguang”.

Xu Shiling plays the role of “Gao Zhengguang” in the drama. He comes from a traditional political family but his political career is not going well and he is about to be fired. In the drama, he and “Ma Yesen” played by Zhou Yimin have been friends for 20 years, while actress Yang Guimei plays his mother.
