Aek Rangsiroj and Anas Reveal the Disciplined Image of Ahlong
Aek Rangsiroj and Anas recently shared their experiences working with Ahlong, revealing the disciplined and fierce yet gentle personality of the renowned director.
A Fun yet Challenging Experience
According to Aek Rangsiroj, “Anas and I will be on set on Saturdays, which is said to be heavy on everything. From the filming location to Sattahip, we eat and sleep there. But it was fun. It’s an unforgettable experience. Even though it was tough, we did it.”
Anas added, “The atmosphere on set was fun. At that time, at our age, we were still at the peak of our potential, capable of fighting with all our strength. For your accuracy, that’s all. Everyone was scolded.”
High Standards and Discipline
Aek Rangsiroj emphasized the importance of discipline on set, stating, “You may have standards that are the standards of the films. It will be quite accurate. It took a long time to get through the first cut. There are many components. When I finished it, I was already tired. And when the sun is about to set, do not go to the bathroom and do not go to the market because it is an important moment. You have to come as soon as you expect the most beautiful light. It will only take a few minutes. That you will use this opportunity to capture images. If you go somewhere during this time, it is a big mistake.”
Anas shared a similar experience, “I understood it, but it was more of a funny style. He would exclaim a little in King Ram’s language, and we would laugh, but he would frown. And then I will smile at you, there will be nothing, sometimes we will make fun of each other, but if it is really wrong, I want what P’Ek said. Several trains may come.”
Strong Effects and Safety Precautions
Aek Rangsiroj highlighted the importance of safety precautions on set, stating, “The effect is really strong. The effects people were coming closer and telling the actors that this area should not be near. Run in this direction, in this degree of radius. It would be a good idea to make an appointment. There is little to lose.”
Physical and Mental Preparation
Anas emphasized the need for physical and mental preparation on set, stating, “The two of us have to go to the forest. During the time you join the set, you have to be fit. Because sometimes the action is ordered at noon, the sun is hot. Sometimes it comes at 7 in the morning, and the scene is shot one scene earlier. Sometimes it is a scene where you have to race with cars. Maybe I haven’t eaten yet. You have to be ready at all times.”
Lessons Learned and Experiences Gained
Aek Rangsiroj reflected on the lessons learned from working with Ahlong, stating, “To make the script exactly as it is written, it is very difficult. You don’t have to look at the script. But you will know that it is wrong. Because you will implant in your heart your preferences in this sentence, like the words ‘come’ or ‘go,’ you will know that we have used the wrong word.”
Anas shared a similar sentiment, “It has given me many experiences to use in my life. The first is to practice patience. There is more discipline on the set. When you give a tail, the tail will be given. Don’t take other jobs. You will be very precise.”
