The film “Wu Ti Dao” co-directed by Leung Guanyu and Leung Guanshun, starring Liu Junqian, Dong Wei (Brother Dee), Wu Yunlong and Cai Siyun (Ceci) will be released tomorrow, September 26th! It so happens that the day of filming is Ah Qian’s birthday, and the film has specially opened a “Liu Junqian’s Birthday Special Screening” to screen exclusive top-secret Easter eggs first.

“Martial Arts” has already sparked heated discussions before its official release. Many first-time viewers were moved by the emotions between the characters in the film, as well as telling the stories of several Hong Kong martial arts figures in the film industry. The film also depicts their lives in depth. The family bond and brotherhood between Ah Qian and Darren Chang (Max) in the film are touching, allowing the audience to feel a touch of warm friendship in a film full of masculinity.

In the film, Li Shilong, played by Ah-chen, has a close relationship with his brother, Ah-kit, played by Max. The two brothers have been fans of Hong Kong action films since they were young, however, under family pressure, Ah-kit chose to open a logistics company and invited his younger brother Long. The two brothers gradually created conflicts because of their different values. The audience praised the performance of A-Khen and Max, saying that the brothers in the play have a very tacit understanding, which is impressive. Max thanked the audience for their praise: “I don’t know if I’m very close to his magnetic field, if I need everyone not to stop here to talk, communication We are not right, but when it is really embedded, the film, the film is very compatible, knowing that there are many people who say they like this brotherly relationship, it seems very beautiful. The tacit understanding is so happy.” Max also said that his favorite last scene of the play is a delicate depiction of the friendship between the two brothers.

Max’s performance was different from his previous modest image, playing a rude street-level delivery boy, which refreshed the audience and praised his performance. Max said, “This role is really different from my usual drama. I actually asked some of my friends who followed the car to know their lives and I also tried to follow them for a day and see what their life is like… I was actually very happy when I got this role, because I always wanted to get rid of the feeling of wearing a suit and show the audience that I am playing a more urban role, that I have more freedom and that the framework is not so narrow, so I can act better.” Max also said that he was a little disappointed that he did not have any action scenes in this film, and hoped to have the opportunity to try his hand at fighting scenes in the future.

In addition to the brotherhood between A Qian and Max, the audience also deserves to appreciate the friendship between other characters in the film, such as the brotherhood between director Chu Tianxing (played by Du Yange) and Brother Sen (played by Dong Wei). For many years, I have been pressuring my good friends to come out and work together to make the honorary work. As for Brother Sen’s good brother, Ajin (played by Wu Ruiting) and his wife Ajuan (played by Che Wanwan), the husband and wife love each other and never give up in times of adversity, which is also touching. As for Leung Chi-wai (played by Ng Yun-lung), who plays the role of an action star, he seems arrogant, but in fact he is very caring towards his brothers. He and his brothers from the Wai family work together life and death, showing uprightness and courage. Both on and off the screen, the audience can feel the spirit of unity of Hong Kong martial arts masters.
