Boost Your Career with Bilingualism: Medellín’s Bilingual Program
In today’s competitive job market, bilingualism is a highly valued skill that can significantly enhance one’s professional prospects. To address this need, the district administration, in collaboration with the Postsecondary Education Agency – Sapiencia, is launching a bilingual program designed for individuals residing in Medellín who wish to improve their English language skills.
The program is open to individuals of legal age and offers 2,000 places to study English in a hybrid mode, combining in-person and virtual learning. The program is aligned with the Common European Framework (CEFR) and covers levels from A1 to B2. Registration is open from September 4 to 10.
About the Program
Participants in the program will have the opportunity to study English through a cutting-edge platform that utilizes artificial intelligence, accessible via computer or mobile devices. Additionally, they will receive face-to-face instruction from native teachers at designated locations, including the Western Citadel (C4TA) and the Language operator of the Information Center, located in Centro, El Poblado, and San Antonio de Prado.
The program aims to strengthen essential language skills, including listening, conversing, reading, and writing. Upon completing each level, students will receive certification from an organization approved by the Ministry of Education.
All registered individuals will undergo an initial evaluation to determine their placement in the program. Certification is available for all levels after a minimum of 12 weeks.
