Gyeonggi Central Education Library Expands Digital Reading Environment with Subscription E-Book and Audio Book Services
The Gyeonggi Central Education Library is launching a ‘Subscription E-Book Service’ and a ‘Subscription Audio Book Service’ to enhance the digital reading experience for the educational community. The services aim to provide easy access to digital educational materials and the latest educational books.
The ‘Subscription E-Book Service’ is open to school faculty and staff in the province, who can apply from the 10th to the 19th. Successful applicants will be entered into a drawing to receive a 3-month subscription to e-books (Bookers) from October to December.
In addition, the ‘Subscription Audio Book Service’ is available to educational communities and local residents in the province. Applicants will be given a 3-month subscription to audio books (Willa Audio Books) from October to December through a lottery.
The library also operates ‘Curriculum-linked Reading Support (School Books)’ to help students develop reading habits. This service is available to all regular members of the library.
The library expects these services to provide practical help to the educational field by increasing accessibility to digital educational materials and the latest educational books.
Furthermore, the Gyeonggi Central Education Library is holding a ‘Subscription Loan E-Book Participation Event’ until the 19th. During this period, regular members of the electronic library can freely borrow up to 50 e-books per month. Members who borrow a large number of e-books will be rewarded with drink coupons.
Lee Jin-gyu, director of Gyeonggi Central Education Library, stated, “Gyeonggi Central Education Library is committed to expanding and providing various digital information resources for the educational community. We will continue to work towards supporting students’ digital learning by steadily improving the digital environment.”
