Unlock the Flavor of Japan: A Simple yet Sizzling Shiso Pasta Recipe to Spice Up Your Mealtime
Shiso Base Recipe using Cordless Capsule Cutter Bonne
Good evening, this is Sachi. Likes, comments, saves, DMs, anything is appreciated. We also accept questions and requests.
Tonight, Recolte donated a #CordlessCapsuleCutterBonne as a prize. In short, it’s like a small food processor, with a slim body and no cord. It doesn’t take up much space, so you can cook stress-free.
Tonight, I’ll be introducing how to make “Shiso Base” using this cordless capsule cutter Bonne. It’s not basil, but green shiso pesto, so it’s called “Shiso-pesto”.

Ingredients
- Penne…300g
- Black pepper…a little
- Olive oil…a little
- Green shiso…30g
- Pine nuts (or walnuts)…10g
- Powdered cheese…10g
- Garlic…1 clove
- Olive oil…100ml
- Rock salt…1g
How to make it
- Wash the green shiso leaves, drain the water, and place all the ingredients in the cordless capsule cutter Bonne and blend until smooth.
- Boil the penne according to the packet instructions.
- Put ① into a frying pan and heat, then add ② and mix with the sauce (add oil and salt to taste, if necessary).
- Place into serving bowls, garnish with halved burrata, grind black pepper, drizzle with olive oil and it’s done!

Tips and Points
- I used penne pasta, but you can use any pasta you like.
