Tokyo Education Show: A Festival of Educational Research and Innovation
The Tokyo Education Show, a unique educational research festival, is set to take place on October 12th and 13th at the Koganei Campus of Tokyo Gakugei University in Koganei City, Tokyo. This exciting event aims to showcase the charm of education and provide an opportunity for people of all ages to experience the fun and cool aspects of learning.
Following the success of the 2023 event, which attracted over 1,300 visitors, including online participants, the Tokyo Education Show is once again being organized by high school and university students from across Japan who are passionate about education. The event is run by the NPO Circle of Education (Tokyo), a group of educational creators dedicated to developing innovative educational plans, promotions, and programs.
Main Programs and Events
The Tokyo Education Show features a diverse range of programs and events, including:
- New Open Research Sessions: Engaging classes led by talented teachers and educational creators from across Japan.
- Education Summit: A talk session where stakeholders in the education industry gather to share ideas and insights.
- Education Youth Conference: A youth-led planning and exchange meeting focused on shaping the future of education.
- EdChallenge Showcase: An exhibition of booths and workshops showcasing innovative educational projects and initiatives from companies and organizations across Japan.
- Gakugei Showcase: A platform for Tokyo Gakugei University to showcase its projects, seminars, clubs, and other activities.
Admission to the event is free, and applications for admission tickets can be made through the TES2024 Event Admission Ticket Application Form. Participation tickets for individual programs can be found on the introduction page of each program.
Support the Event
The Tokyo Education Show is also seeking support through ForGood crowdfunding. Various support plans are available, starting from 1,000 yen, including the “Just Support Plan,” the “Online Exchange Plan with Students Plan,” and the “Let’s Prepare Together Plan @ Gakugeidai,” which allows supporters to participate in decorating the venue. The deadline for support is Monday, September 16th.
