Reading x Educational ICT Ignite Children’s Curiosity: A Seminar by Poplar Publishing
On October 13th, Poplar Publishing will hold a seminar titled “Reading x Educational ICT Ignite Children’s Curiosity! – Tips for Lesson Design Revealed from Teachers’ Ingenuity” at the “Tokyo Education Show 2024” to be held at Tokyo Gakugei University in Koganei City, Tokyo.
In this seminar, the company will introduce examples of schools using “Yomokka!”, an all-you-can-read digital library for elementary and junior high schools, and “Sagasokka!”, an online dictionary service, along with interviews with teachers and usage logs. In the second half of the talk session, Vice Principal Sakiyama Hidenori of Toda City’s Sasamehigashi Elementary School and Teacher Shimizu Hiroshi of Kobe City’s Suganodai Elementary School will take to the stage to talk about how teachers can spark children’s curiosity.
Participation is free. In addition to applying to participate in the seminar, you will also need an admission ticket (free) to the “Tokyo Education Show 2024.”
