Infertility Treatment Support with Oriental Medicine
For infertile couples who want to conceive naturally, we provide support for infertility treatment with oriental medicine.
Our program aims to reduce the financial burden of infertility treatment and improve your health, helping you achieve natural pregnancy and childbirth.
Eligibility
Women 44 years of age or younger (born after January 1, 1979) who are experiencing unexplained infertility and are in a common-law relationship or married.
Support Details
90% support for 3-month contract costs (up to 1.2 million won)
100% support for beneficiaries and the next lowest level
Up to 2 times per person (once per year)
Medical infertility treatment is not possible during the period of oriental medicine infertility treatment (3 months of intensive treatment)
Treatment Facility
Only available at designated Korean medicine clinics (Pregnancy and Childbirth Information Center Guidance Service → Full list of medical institutions → Search by setting Classification Korean medicine infertility treatment)
Application Procedure
Self-inspection and submission of required documents → Document reception and selection of first target → Pre-inspection (※Inspection fee not supported) → Selection of final target
Important Notes
- If medical infertility treatment (artificial insemination, in vitro fertilization) is performed concurrently during treatment, support is not available and reimbursement is processed.
- If treatment is discontinued for more than 1 month due to personal reasons, treatment is terminated at that point in time.
- If pregnancy is successful during treatment, treatment is completed and treatment is terminated.
- If treatment is discontinued (due to pregnancy or other reasons), you must notify the public health center or oriental medical clinic.
- Actively participate in 3 months of treatment and 2 months of follow-up observation. After treatment, a post-treatment examination is conducted and the results must be submitted.
- Post-treatment follow-up examinations must be conducted and the results must be submitted (post-treatment examination items: CBC, LFT, BUN/Cr)
- Education, counseling, and other services provided by public health centers and oriental medical clinics. Actively participate in the survey (Survey: conducted at the end of treatment, 6 months after treatment, and 1 year after treatment)
