Samsung One UI 6.1.1 Update: New Features and Supported Devices

Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 6.1.1 build update to its eligible devices, bringing a number of new features and enhancements. Here’s a list of the new features and the devices they’re supported on.

• Drawing Assistant: This feature lets you turn a rough sketch into a work of art. Supported on the following devices: Galaxy S24, Galaxy S23, Galaxy S22, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Tab S9, and Galaxy Tab S8.
• Overlay Translation: Ability to overlay translated text on the original image while maintaining the background color. Compatible with the above devices.
• Portrait Studio: Ability to save photos by selecting from several AI-generated portrait styles. Again compatible with the devices mentioned above.
• Live Effects: This feature turns your photo into a Live Photo with 3D effects. It works on photos that contain both people and animals. It can be used again on the devices mentioned above.
• Wallpaper Weather Effects: The wallpaper automatically adjusts based on the time of day and weather conditions, depending on your location.
• Improved Circle Search Functionality: Now you can use this popular search feature to identify music and find solutions to math problems.

New Gallery Features

• Auto Zoom in Flex Camera Mode: Flex Camera mode lets you easily take selfies using the rear camera and the external display. Now with improved auto-zoom for a smoother experience. Compatible with: Galaxy Flip 6 to Galaxy Z Flip 5.
• Flex Camcorder: Ability to record video like a camcorder. Compatible with the devices mentioned above.
• Instantaneous Deceleration: This feature allows you to slow down the video speed. Supports the following devices: Galaxy S24, Galaxy S23, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Flip 5 to Galaxy Tab S9.
• Motion Clipper: This feature creates animated stickers and GIFs by long-pressing on people or objects in a photo. Available on the following devices: Galaxy S24, Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Tab S9, and Galaxy Tab S8.

What’s New in Expert RAW

• Celestial Portraits: This feature allows you to take pictures of people and stars together. Compatible with the following devices: Galaxy S24, Galaxy S23, Galaxy Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6.
• RAW Editor: DNG (Digital Negative) is a RAW image format supported by the editor. Galaxy Photos provides other editing tools for a richer experience.
