Experience Being an Investor: A Financial Education Workshop for Students

Rheos Capital Works Co., Ltd., the manager of the “Hifumi” series of investment trusts under SBI Rheos Hifumi Co., Ltd., is hosting a financial education workshop for 4th-grade elementary school students to 3rd-grade junior high school students, titled “Let’s Experience Being an Investor!” The workshop will take place on Sunday, September 29, 2024, in Tenjin, Fukuoka.

Workshop Contents: “Let’s Experience Being an Investor!”

When you hear the word “investor,” you might imagine a difficult job, such as checking numbers and reports and reading economic news. However, investment hints come from things you see daily. The job of a professional investor is to observe changes in the world, research and analyze companies, and invest in those that are likely to grow.

In this workshop, we will use the theme of “convenience store candy shelves” to experience how investors view the world and find investment opportunities. This is a unique financial and economic education program that invests by focusing not only on numbers but also on the ingenuity and efforts of companies.

We will provide a workbook to use during the workshop, and at the end of the program, we will give you our original Hifumi Investor Certificate. This workshop is recommended for those who want to broaden their children’s interests, expand their career options, and develop rich imagination.
