About the 2024 Bi Yingzuo Scholarship of the School of Animal ‌Science

Selection Notice

According to the “Implementation Measures⁣ for the Bi Yingzuo ⁢Scholarship of the College of Animal Sciences” and the requirements of the Bi Yingzuo Foundation Council, in order to do a good job in the selection of the Bi Yingzuo Scholarship in 2024, the relevant matters are ‌hereby notified as‍ follows:

I. Award ​Recipients

Full-time‌ undergraduate and non-directed graduate students in the College of Animal ⁢Science

II. Reward Standards

Bonus:‌ 12,000 yuan per person, 10⁣ people will be awarded

III. Selection Criteria

1. Basic Conditions

1. Have the‌ nationality of the ⁣People’s Republic of China;

2. Love the socialist motherland and support the leadership of the‌ Communist Party of China;

3. Abide by the Constitution and laws, abide by the school’s rules and ‍regulations, and consciously maintain the normal order of the school;

4. ‍Honesty, trustworthiness, and good moral character;

2. Undergraduate Student Qualification Requirements

1. ⁤Diligent in study, rigorous in⁢ study, excellent in ⁤grades, and ranked in the top 2 of each major in the 2023-2024 academic year (only ‍once during the school period,​ if the top 2 have⁤ won the award, the ranking will be lower.), those who publish academic papers as the first author will be given priority (subject ⁤to the search certificate). If the first author publishes a high-level academic paper‌ related ⁣to the subject in a related journal or achieves other important ⁤scientific research results, the grade point ranking can be appropriately relaxed, which will be decided by the review committee after‌ discussion and research;

2. Complete⁢ the registration procedures according to the‍ school’s regulations;

3. Applicants‌ who meet any of the ⁣following⁤ conditions ‍are not eligible ‍for the scholarship assessment:

(1) Those who violated school rules and⁤ regulations and were criticized or punished above by the⁤ college level;

(2) Those who have failed the⁢ degree course examination;

(3)​ Anyone who (regardless of the order of signatures) publishes‌ papers that contain plagiarism, falsification of experimental data, or other acts that⁤ violate academic ethics.

3. Postgraduate Qualification Requirements

1. Actively participate in various collective activities ⁣organized by the school and college, such as participating in academic lectures, reports, study sessions, etc. of the “Animal Science⁤ Forum” and famous lectures;

2. Diligent ​in study, rigorous ​in study, excellent in ‌academic performance, outstanding in scientific research ability, and relevant research results; those with outstanding academic⁢ and scientific research results and provincial or higher⁣ awards are preferred. In principle, during the period of study, if you publish relevant academic papers or relevant scientific research results as⁣ the first author or receive⁣ provincial or higher awards in subject competitions, you​ must attach a search certificate and a PDF of the full text of ⁣the paper. The calculation time for‌ relevant achievements is until June 30, 2024;

3. Comprehensive assessment (refer to the selection criteria of the college’s national⁤ scholarship), not just considering the applicant’s academic⁤ achievements or honorary awards;

4. Note: A student can only⁣ be awarded the Bi Yingzuo Scholarship once ⁤at the same academic⁤ level.

5. Applicants who meet any of the following conditions are not eligible for the scholarship assessment:

(1) Those⁢ who violated school rules and regulations and were criticized or punished above by the college level;

(2) Those who have failed the degree course examination;

(3) Those who have ⁣plagiarized, falsified experimental data, or committed other acts that violate academic ethics in publicly published papers (regardless‌ of the order of signature);

(4) Other ⁤college ‌review panels ‍deem the candidate unsuitable for review.

IV. Review Procedure

1. Application

Eligible students are ‌requested to ⁣submit ‍the electronic version of ⁢the relevant materials⁣ (compressed package, named: grade + ⁢class + name + Bi Yingzuo Scholarship application ⁤materials) as‍ required. Undergraduate applicants should send it to 2590215473@qq.com. Postgraduate applicants should send their applications to 421545811@qq.com; deadline:⁢ 12:00 on September 7, 2024.

Materials to ‍be submitted: Bi Yingzuo Scholarship Application Form,⁣ Bi Yingzuo Scholarship‍ Application List, relevant supporting materials (electronic version), score sheet (graduate students)

2. Selection and Publicity

The Bi Yingzuo Scholarship Review Group of the college will review the qualifications of the applicants and ⁤organize the selection. The list ⁢of proposed winners will be submitted to the Bi Yingzuo Foundation Board‍ of Directors for review and‍ determination, and the list of winners will be​ publicized in the college for 5 working days.
