The University of Sheffield’s International Postgraduate Taught Merit Scholarship Scheme awards £10,000 towards tuition fees for entry in 2025. This is a competitive scholarship scheme with a separate application process and 75 awards available.

University of Sheffield 2025 admissions applications open
University of Sheffield Undergraduate
UCAS is now open to students to start applications for undergraduate courses starting in September 2025. The University of Sheffield encourages all applicants to apply by the equivalent consideration date – 29 January 2025 (except for courses with a closing date of October 2024).
University of Sheffield Masters Application
Applications are now open for postgraduate taught courses starting in September 2025.
Following a reassessment of the University’s application processes and feedback from stakeholders, the University of Sheffield is now able to accept applications and make offers on a rolling basis for some postgraduate taught programmes that previously operated on a staged admissions basis. This includes programmes at the University of Sheffield Management School.

New course at the University of Sheffield: MSc Physics
For students entering in September 2025, the University of Sheffield has launched a new course in the School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences.
