The purpose of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare is to support systems for the independent skill development of workers, and to promote employment stability and reemployment.

This is an employment insurance benefit system.

Persons insured by employment insurance (employed persons) or persons who were insured persons (separated persons) who meet certain conditions are designated by the Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare.

If the person takes and completes a general education and training course, an amount equivalent to 20% of the education and training expenses paid by the person to the education and training facility.

(up to 100,000 yen) will be paid by Hello Work (Public Employment Security Office).

Designated course (specified document)

At our university,[Graduate School of Business Administration, Department of Business Administration]and[Graduate School of Human Sciences, Department of Human Coexistence]are under the General Education and Training Benefit System, Health, Labor and Welfare.

This is a minister-designated course. *Applicable to students enrolling in April 2024 (Reiwa 6).

Those enrolled in each major and who fall under the eligibility criteria can use the system.

We will release a “statement of disclosure” that summarizes matters related to the content of designated education and training, the scope of education and training expenses, etc. as follows.

If you wish to apply, please follow the steps below.

(1) Confirmation of education and training benefit system

Please check the system and payment application procedure.

(2) Confirmation of eligibility for receiving benefits

Please check with the Hello Work office that has jurisdiction over your address in advance to see if you are eligible to receive benefits.

Hello Work will respond to inquiries for those who wish.

To confirm eligibility, you will need the “Education and Training Benefit Payment Requirements Inquiry Sheet” distributed by Hello Work or our university.

(3) Submit your application to the graduate school office

If you wish to apply, please apply to the Graduate School Office.

Details on how to apply for use, deadlines, etc. will be provided on KVC (our university’s portal site) in the second year (the year after enrollment).

Applicants who have completed the course will receive an “Application Form for Education and Training Benefits” and “Certificate of Education and Training Completion” after the completion ceremony (end date of course).

We will give you a “receipt”.

*Please complete the payment procedures at Hello Work or electronically within one month from the day after the course ends.
