The company recently hosted a customer conference, showcasing real-world examples of process innovation in action.

Real-World Examples of Process Innovation

Notable examples include electronics retailers Conrad Electronics, Shukat Electronics, and TD Synex. These companies previously relied on EDI technology, but encountered recurring issues with orders due to mismatched prices and delivery dates. With Celonis Networks, a cutting-edge solution, the three companies now automatically exchange 5,000 order updates in real-time every day. Shared data includes order information such as order processing status, estimated delivery date, and delivery details. This enables Conrad to proactively identify potential problems, such as delivery delays, and take corrective action. Meanwhile, suppliers like Shukat gain valuable insights into future order volumes, allowing them to plan accordingly.

Interconnected Processes for Enhanced Visibility

According to Manuel Haug, Celonis’ field CTO, “The cases of Conrad Electronic and Schukat Electronic demonstrate how Schukat’s sales process is virtually connected to Conrad’s purchasing process.” Haug explains that Celonis Networks is an evolved version of the ‘Process Intelligence Graph,’ introduced a year ago to map a company’s entire processes. This new solution interconnects individual processes, such as purchasing, inventory management, and production lines, providing a holistic view of the overall workflow within the company.
