IDRC was established in 2000. The institution is located in the center of London, overlooking the famous St. Paul’s Cathedral. It is one of the UK’s leading global arbitration institutions. IDRC is very honored to sign the Memorandum of Cooperation with Guangzhou Arbitration Commission at the important moment of its 25th anniversary. We look forward to more cooperation opportunities between the two parties in the future to jointly promote the development of the international arbitration industry. At the same time, IDRC also very much welcomes the first international commercial arbitration advanced training class of Guangzhou Arbitration Commission to come to the site for visits and exchanges.
Chen Simin, director of Guangzhong, said
Guangzhong has been committed to building a global international commercial law and dispute resolution service center, and the number of cases it handles ranks among the top in the country all year round. Both institutions share the goal of serving international commercial dispute resolution, international arbitration research and cooperation, and there is much worth learning and communicating with each other. We look forward to more in-depth exchanges and discussions between the two parties on modern projects such as online arbitration and AI arbitration in the future. The students of the first international commercial arbitration advanced training class of Guangzhou Arbitration Commission arrived at IDRC today for a visit and exchange. I wish all the students will gain something from their studies.
LCIA senior consultant Yang Zhao said
LCIA is very honored to participate in and witness the signing ceremony of the memorandum of cooperation between Guangzhong and IDRC. LCIA is one of the world’s most important international commercial arbitration institutions. 90% of its cases are international cases. The parties are located on five continents around the world and have 7 branches in different countries. I very much look forward to the opportunity for Director Chen Simin and Representative Guangzhong to visit and communicate with LCIA in the future. The two institutions will definitely have closer cooperation and exchanges in the field of international arbitration.
