Gimhae City: The Ideal Hub for Integrated Management of Gaya Tumuli Cluster
Gimhae is a perfect fit for the role of the central point of the integrated management organization for the Gaya Tumuli Cluster.
Kim Jeong-ho, a member of the National Assembly from the Democratic Party of Korea for Gimhae City B, emphasized this at the opening ceremony of the National Gaya History and Culture Center.
Rep. Kim said, “There is fierce competition surrounding the selection of a site for the integrated management organization for the Gaya Ancient Tombs,” and “It is right to select Gimhae City as the optimal site, as it ranked first according to the objective service results.”
He added, “As a member of the National Assembly for Gimhae, I will definitely support legislation and budget support at the National Assembly level until the Gayasa incident is corrected.”
Rep. Kim said, “Gimhae is equipped with various infrastructures in addition to the symbolism and representation of Geumgwan Gaya,” and “Five local governments in Gyeongnam have already reached an agreement. The remaining two local governments should also reach an agreement in accordance with the natural course of things and swiftly establish a cooperative system and smoothly promote joint projects.”
