Adétikopé Industrial Platform (PIA) Supports Affected Communities with Livelihood Restoration Scheme
The Adétikopé Industrial Platform (PIA) has been working to support people affected by the project through its Livelihood Restoration Scheme (PRMS), enabling most of those involved to restart their activities.
The PIA Livelihood Restoration Scheme (PRMS) aims to provide support to people affected by the project, ensuring they can recover, improve their livelihoods, and local communities. To achieve this, the PIA has provided tools to artisans to facilitate the relaunch of their activities.
Support for Artisans and Traders
Welders have received welding stations, grinding, and other essential equipment, while hairdressers have been provided with professional hair dryers and accessories. Additionally, the PIA has built two hangars with 72 places, including toilets, to provide traders at the Adétikopé market with acceptable conditions on site.
Support for Breeders and Farmers
Breeders and farmers have received training on animal care, and the PIA has provided livestock such as sheep, chickens, pigs, and goats. Fields have been built to guarantee good breeding conditions. Farmers have also been supported with rented hectares of land, seeds, fertilizers, and assistance with soil preparation.
