Student Achievements in Judo Tournament
At the 66th Akita Prefectural High School Athletic Federation Central Branch Rookie Judo Tournament, held at the Akita Prefectural Budokan Judo Hall on Friday, September 6th and Saturday, September 7th, 2024, our students achieved remarkable results.
Ayaka Izumi won the women’s 78kg class, while Miku Kusanagi came in third in the women’s 48kg class. This is the first time that both have won the women’s individual competition at the Central Branch Rookie Tournament.
We look forward to seeing our students continue to train hard and prepare for the 2024 Akita Prefectural High School Newcomer Judo Tournament, which will be held at the Akita Prefectural Budokan on Saturday, October 26th and Sunday, October 27th.
