President of Faso Meets with Burkinabè and Chinese Businessmen

The​ President of Faso, Captain ‌Ibrahim TRAORE, ‌received a​ delegation of Burkinabè and⁤ Chinese businessmen in an ​audience on‌ Friday morning.

The delegation,⁤ led by the Special Adviser to the Head of State, LI YUBAO,⁣ was ​in the ‍Burkinabe capital⁢ for ​the Sino-Burkinabe business meeting. The meeting aimed to strengthen cooperation between Burkina​ Faso and the People’s Republic of China.

According to ⁤LI YUBAO,⁣ the Sino-Burkina‍ Faso business forum was a success, as ‌it sent a message⁤ to the world about Burkina Faso’s progress towards‍ development. He noted that the meeting was an opportunity for Burkina Faso to reaffirm its desire to develop, citing the country’s abundant resources and ambitious entrepreneurs.

During the discussions, President ⁢Faso‌ emphasized the need to move ‍towards industrialization. He believes ‌that a country’s ​development begins with​ strengthening​ its industrial⁢ fabric. To achieve this, ‍the⁤ government has initiated several‌ projects to enhance the production and processing capabilities‌ of ‍national ‍companies.
