Sharia‌ Studies and the Question⁢ of Development in Horizon of Achieving Vision 2030

King Khalid University, ⁣representing the College of Sharia and Fundamentals of Religion, recently organized a two-day conference titled “Sharia Studies and the Question of Development in Horizon⁢ of Achieving ‌Vision 2030” at Al-Faray University City⁢ Exhibition ⁢and Convention Center.

Conference⁤ Objectives and Importance

According to University Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research ‍and Chairman of the Conference Organizing‌ Committee, Prof. Dr. ⁤Hamid bin Majdo’ Al-Qarni, the conference aimed to highlight⁢ the importance of Sharia studies in ⁤achieving social problems, explaining the role of ‍Sharia studies in the development of the economy of the state, ⁤and anticipating the Kingdom’s future prospects in‌ the post-2030 era.

Conference Topics ​and Sessions

The Dean of⁣ the College of Shariah ⁤and Fundamentals of Religion, Prof. Dr. Muhammad bin Ali Al-Qarni, stated that the conference discussed the role of Shariah colleges in achieving the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, the importance‍ of Shariah studies in achieving social problems, and the future ‌prospects of the⁤ state. The conference⁤ featured 23 scientific papers presented in 6 sessions.

College of Shariah and Fundamentals of Religion

The conference coincided with the fiftieth anniversary of⁢ the establishment of the College of Shariah and Fundamentals of Religion, which has‌ become a beacon of science‌ and knowledge, attracting students from 40 countries around the world.
